Strategies for Improving Hotel Program Compliance

Description

For today’s travel buyer, building and managing a travel program is an exercise in problem solving: How do you reduce costs and increase traveler compliance while keeping employees happy? While strategies and solutions have emerged to try to fix these issues, many ignore the deeper disconnect between travel buyer priorities and travelers expectations. Building on 2019 research from GBTA and HRS, this webinar explores some of the gaps in perceptions between travel buyers and business travelers and highlights three specific areas buyers can focus on to make their hotel programs more effective.

At the end of the session, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate their own lodging program to identify strategic choices that can be made to drive traveler compliance and satisfaction

  • Identify specific gaps in travel buyer and business traveler perceptions of the travel experience

  • Use the experience of one of their peers as a model for how to create change in their own programs
