Hotel Booking: Content and Policies - Summary of Findings

Description
In recent years, hotel booking has seen several major innovations. Will these change how “managed” travel programs book hotels?
This study focuses on several questions:
  1. Which hotel rates do “managed” travel programs display through corporate booking channels? Their own negotiated rates? Their TMC’s rates? Non-negotiated rates?
    1. How often do they book each of these?
  2. Do travel programs display hotel rates that are also available on consumer websites such as Expedia and Priceline? Why or why not?
  3. How do travel policies address hotel booking?
