Improving the Hotel Procurement Process

Description
A presentation and discussion highlighting several new ways to improve hotel procurement by utilizing new technology, hotel rate benchmarks, advanced analytics and more.  We'll discuss the challenges with the current processes and how they can be overcome to achieve even greater savings, increased usage of preferred suppliers, improvement in traveler usage of the preferred hotel program, maximum benefit from both flat rates as well as % off BAR discounts, usage of new benchmark rates during hotel negotiations, and more.

At the end of the session, participants should be able to:

    • Improve their hotel program by identifying new ways to obtain better negotiated rates from hotels.
    • Quantify the value of their hotel program.
    • Significantly reduce RFP time and costs.
