The goal of this research is to understand the prevalence with which those with large-scale event-planning responsibilities are coordinating with marketing departments in the planning and execution of company events. Where it exists, the research explores the origins, structure, benefits, and best practices of this relationship; where it does not, the research investigates reasons for not pursuing such a collaboration.
