Perceptions of Safety for Female Business Travelers: Summary of Findings

Description
In recent years, more issues of women’s risk and safety have been brought to light, and with this awareness comes the question of how women can remain safe in typically risky situations, such as traveling. While many recommendations and resources exist for female travelers on leisure travel, it is unclear whether this same advice is provided and/or heeded during business trips. Moreover, it is unclear whether organizations have enough support and resources in place to mitigate risk for their female business travelers. This study further explores female business travelers’ perceptions of their safety on the road, and what actions, if any, individuals and organizations can take to better address safety for female travelers.
