With over 99% of companies in North American having less than 500 employees, virtually all travel programs are of small to medium size ("SME"). Most of these programs rely on very few resources with the entire travel program typically supported by a "multi-hatted" administrator or, if lucky, a dedicated travel manager. Likewise, the SME is unlikely to have in-house expertise around risk and security to provide support. How should an SME address the safety and security of its traveling population? What are the essential elements of an SME travel risk management program? How can they be implemented at no or low cost? How can GBTA help?
At the end of the session, participants should be able to:
Understand the essential elements of a TRM program to keep your travelers healthy, safe and secure.
Know where to go to access resources and tools at low or no cost to implement a TRM program.
Apply the GTBA Travel Risk Management Maturity Model (TRM3) to guide the development of your TRM program.
